Design Idea of WOW Icecrown Fortress

During the interview, the WOW Producers revealed some information about the design idea of WOW Icecrown Fortress.

On January 15, the team manager of Blizzard community named Bornakk and the main system designer called GhostCrawler has had an interview through the official Twitter. During the interview, they revealed some information about the design idea of WOW Icecrown Fortress.

Q: We have known that the mounted weapon of Ulduar is the unique game system in the WOW game, why do not you add such mounted weapon in Icecrown Fortress?

A: In some respects, mounted weapon of Ulduar is to show that we can make the cars get very interesting. In fact, Flame Leviathan is unique, but the Vessel War of Icecrown Fortress is also unique. What we want to say is that not all of the Raid need to mounted tanks.

Q: Why do you remove the rewards of the team leader in the random instances of hero mode in WOW?

A: Actually, we do not encourage the players who have no experience of being a leader to do this. Therefore, we remove it. But you will find that you can gain WOW gold, experience, equipment and so on in other challengeable ways.

Q: When we meet level 58 in Azeroth in WOW Cataclysm, need we go to Outland, or stay in Azeroth to continue to upgrade?

A: There is no doubt that you still need to go to explore the contents of the Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King content, if you want to continue to upgrade, as there is no content about level 60 to level 80 in Azeroth.

Q: Do you have any plans to revise some respects of Balance Druid in WOW, especially the triggering of Eclipse? Sometimes, the random number of it is detrimental to our DPS.

A: To be honest, we do not mind the random number, but the problem is that there will lose an important trigger effect due to the triggering at the wrong time, that is, before you need to move. If we allow it to function, we have in large catastrophic cool solution. It would make a lunar eclipse cooler, and also to balance the effects of Germany more trigger.
